Eye Surgery review at Wonpik (원픽) · 2023-12-10

The reviews seem decent, and unlike other hospitals they also charge a 10,000 won consultation fee, so I guess I went in with too much expectation. Before visiting, this was a clinic I had quietly picked as the one I might end up using here, but the conclusion was just so-so~ 1. The front desk staff... how should I put it, formal kindness.. (maybe it felt that way even more because it contrasted with the clinic I had consulted right before) 2. During the consultation, the director in charge of consultations diagnoses the condition of the eyes in advance, but she spoke too mechanically and too quickly about things only a doctor should really be saying, so it felt burdensome.. In the end, the doctor gave the same diagnosis too. The consultation started with, 'December dates are already pretty full for surgery.' (Huh? What is that?~~) I don't know if the director had just had double eyelid surgery recently or where she had it done, but um... 3. They moved me to another consultation room midway for the estimate and final consultation, and it was so chaotic. The clinic atmosphere was extremely disorganized. I went at my 예약 time, but there was still a wait. I felt like I should avoid weekend surgeries... it would be way too hectic. 4. It wasn't cheap compared to other clinics, either, but they wrote that the price included 4 review posts (from the other reviews, it looks like they also ask you to upload photos). So I started thinking maybe there were a lot of reviews. 5. I consulted several places, but only here did they say fat removal was needed. From the reviews of people who had it done here, it seems fat removal is generally included a lot too. Other: After consulting at several places, I found it interesting that the overall atmosphere of the clinic and staff tends to resemble the director's atmosphere.
