I went for a consultation for revision nose surgery. For me, improving my rhinitis was the top priority, and next was improving the tip of the nose that had dropped after surgery 13 years ago? That was the next thing I wanted fixed. Since it was a short nose, they explained how difficult that nose is to work on, and they did not recommend rhinitis surgery. They said it probably wouldn’t have much effect. For the revision, they mentioned ear cartilage, but I wanted to make a strong nose with rib cartilage, so I passed. Other plastic surgery clinics also discouraged rhinitis surgery, but an ENT clinic said they could improve it, so I made an appointment there.
