Facial Contouring review at Paradia (파라디아) · 2024-07-06

The manager/coordinator was kind. I had a consultation with a male director. While consulting, his tone and gestures felt extremely prideful. He tapped my face 꽤 strongly with a wooden stick-like thing, and said that he had no intention of touching the 45-degree cheekbone area, but if I had surgery there, they would have to do it together.. When I said I was worried because I had heard that doing the 45-degree area causes cheek sagging, he asked where I heard such things and from whom, told me not to listen to non-experts, and said that if cheek sagging happens, it is because the surgeon lacked skill. Even if it is done, cheek sagging will not happen. I think I heard him repeat only that sentence about 10 times. He seemed a little triggered by the word 'sagging'.. (I said, ah.. yes, I get it, but even though I came after hearing strange things that sagging can happen, he repeatedly said he was confused during the consultation Sorry I guess I was foolish to worry about sagging..) I thought sagging was more like an action-reaction thing rather than a side effect..! Also, while showing before-and-after photos of contouring patients, he said, look, does this look like sagging happened? When I asked how long after surgery the photos were, he said 6 months, 1 year.. I quietly thought to myself that if it has only been 1 year, of course sagging would not have happened..! Well, maybe that is just because I am a non-expert?! And rather than feeling like my questions were answered and my curiosity resolved, he seemed not to grasp the context of my questions and gave answers that did not match, so there were a lot of moments where I was like, huh..(?)! I guess I should have asked my questions better~ I also thought the sagging topic was over, but he kept returning to saying sagging does not happen.. He kept telling me to ask anything I was curious about, but in the end, his answers seemed to be mostly about what he himself wanted to say. I guess since he is the expert, he knows better than me..? I first had the consultation without a CT scan, and then was told that a CT scan was needed for an accurate consultation, so I paid 10,000 won, got the CT, and went back in for another consultation, but I am not sure it was any more detailed. He seemed to take a lot of pride in contouring, so I thought, ah, he must be a long-time expert~^^
