I have no double eyelids and some fat on my eyelids. The doctor said if I wasn’t going to have ptosis correction, it would be better not to do it at all. They said I was opening my eyes using forehead muscles, so ptosis correction was needed, and because of my epicanthal fold, inner canthoplasty was also needed. They said that because my eyes are uneven, if I only did double eyelid surgery, the asymmetry might become even more obvious. They also said that even with ptosis correction, because the strength used to open each eye differs, the amount of visible eyeball could differ and revision surgery might be needed, but if revision ptosis surgery is done within 7 days, there is no extra cost. I liked that they were clear, but it felt like there were many customers and I’d need to ask questions quickly. The person who consulted me was kind, but spoke too fast. I asked whether they were an anesthesiologist, but they said that for double eyelid surgery it’s under sedation, so whether they are an anesthesiologist isn’t very important. There was no consultation fee, which was nice, and there is only one main doctor. The price is in the upper 200s, with ptosis correction around the low 200s and inner canthoplasty around 60.
