If you're only going to do 2 to 3 mm, then there's no need to take on the risk of cosmetic surgery; it won't even show. My skin isn't that thin or fragile enough to show through either, so they recommended 4 mm and were quite firm about it. Silicone on the bridge, septal cartilage + ear cartilage for the tip. If you do it with ear cartilage only, it might look natural for a year, which is nice, but after that it can sink and sag, and the shape may not stay pretty. They said it needs to be fixed with septal cartilage too (maybe because it's 4 mm...? ) The doctor is a bit blunt and not particularly kind, but still explains things in quite a lot of detail. The coordinator is very kind, but among the hospitals I've been to, the surgery fee here was the highest. The career is long, so I think they may be able to do it in a fairly stable way.
