I had nose surgery in 2016. They confidently said they would make it look pretty and balanced, and that just making it higher would only make it a big nose, but my nose just became a big nose. Around last year, it started to show that the tip was dropping, and now there is also a slight contracture, so I’m looking into removal. The silicone is also crooked and visible, and it moves near the area below the glabella. When I went back to the clinic because I felt the contracture, they said my nostrils were originally visible, and that the reason the silicone looked crooked was that my original nose was crooked, so it just looked more so after making it higher. Then they said they could remove it and fill it with autologous dermis. When I asked whether there were patients here who had surgery with autologous dermis and whether I could see photos, they said there was no such thing. So I now have nothing but anxiety and I never went back. I’m currently looking for a clinic for removal. In the comments from other people, I saw that they said something about needing a lift, and they had also told me that at my first nose consultation too, saying I would need a forehead lift because I breathe with my forehead... I was in my early 20s then. After surgery, when they said my nose looked crooked and my nostrils were visible, that was just because my nose was originally like that, I really had nothing to say...
