There's a bit of a communication gap between the doctor's diagnosis and what the patient wants, and I felt that a little. They do answer what you ask, though.. They don't really have a flashy way with words, so for some people that might come across as unfriendly. Still.. the part I felt was kind was when I suddenly got scared right before surgery and they told me not to worry? It was more than 5 years ago, and there was a big issue at the time about ghost surgeons, so because they said they only do local anesthesia without sedation here, I felt relieved that I wouldn't have to worry about a ghost surgeon. But honestly, if that kind of issue didn't exist.. there are definitely some good points to being able to go to sleep and wake up with it all done, since the operating room is cold and, even if it doesn't hurt, for a scaredy-cat who's afraid of waking up in the middle, it's a huge ordeal Also, one thing I liked about having my first consultation here was that, first of all, with the manager, I only got the pricing info (they even have a fee table; I don't think I've seen another clinic with one on their website), and when I met the doctor, it felt focused on improving the part I was insecure about. Places like that are rare these days, but I was worried because I'd seen online that there are consultations where the manager pushes you to add this and that, but there was absolutely none of that. The satisfaction with the surgery is subjective, but what I liked was that at that time I couldn't find many reviews of just epicanthoplasty and lateral canthoplasty without double eyelid surgery, and I liked that they did it that way. At that time it was also hard to find reviews for nose surgery without an implant, and after consulting I went ahead with it and was satisfied.
