Patient review of Dareum (다름) · 2026-09-18

I had surgery yesterday and just went back to the clinic for disinfection. It is only day one, so there is not much to evaluate yet, but I am so incredibly satisfied so far that I wanted to record it and brag about it to everyone, lol. I hope this helps even a little for people deliberating over surgery, haha. Before surgery, my nose was generally small and looked very spread out. Because it was small, from the front it looked more broad and flat than clearly defined. It was not a large nose, but the blunt appearance bothered me, and I would subtly reduce its size in photos. I often felt that my face lacked dimension not only from the side but also from the front. Rather than simply making my nose higher, I cared about creating dimension. I wanted my nose to anchor the center of my face naturally, without looking excessively high or artificial. I explained these points in detail during the consultation, and they listened very carefully. They discussed what concerned me about my current nose shape and how to plan the surgery instead of just hearing me superficially and moving on. They explained everything well even though I kept asking questions, which built a lot of trust. Before surgery, I thought I would be nervous once I lay on the operating table no matter how good the consultation was, but after receiving such a thorough consultation, I felt I could trust them. I suppose I came to trust the person as well. I was still worried on the day of surgery, but I lay down relatively comfortably while thinking about what had been explained. The part I am most satisfied with is, of course, the shape of my nose. It is only the first day, so there is swelling and the final shape is definitely not visible yet, but I can already see that my nose has gained dimension instead of looking small and flat. It feels better than I expected, T_T. From the front, my nose has more presence than before, making my whole face look more three-dimensional, and it is much more dimensional from the side too. Of course, it may only look that way because of the swelling, and I will have to watch how it changes, but my first impression in the mirror is quite satisfying. This is exactly the direction I wanted, and I am relieved that some change was visible immediately after surgery. It is only day one, but my first impression is satisfied! I will continue recording the process as the swelling goes down.
