Consultation: revision incisional eye-shape correction, upper canthoplasty, lateral canthoplasty reversal, and lower canthoplasty. For the revision eye-shape correction, I chose a semi-out fold. Since I originally had an in-fold, the front line was fixed with upper canthoplasty. With lateral canthoplasty reversal and lower canthoplasty, they removed the scar tissue that had created a D-shape, refined the shape to be pointed, and lowered the outer corners to soften my impression. I decided to try revision surgery to fix the loosened fold from three years ago and the scar tissue on the left side of the D-shaped outer corner. The most important things for me were getting the back-of-the-eye shape right and preventing the double-eyelid line from loosening. I liked that the surgeon explained things according to what I wanted and recommended what needed to be done. The consultant only described the condition of my eyes without adding anything extra, so it felt like a proper consultation. When discussing restoration, the surgeon said lower canthoplasty was recommended for the shape of my eyes, but was unnecessary if the only goal was to address complications. That made me trust them. I knew several people around me who had restoration and then redone their canthoplasty, so I worried I might regret not doing it together and decided to proceed with everything. Considering all the positive comments about the aftercare, this seemed like the best place, so I paid the deposit. People say revision surgery in Gangnam is expensive these days, but even with lateral restoration, upper canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty, the cost was not as burdensome as I expected. Note: They answer every question exactly as asked, so it would be good to prepare your questions in advance. They take their time and do not cut the consultation short.
