I went for a consultation because my double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction had loosened. Unlike other hospitals, they said the line might rise up and feel burdensome, so I probably didn't need to do it after all (it felt like they only recommended the surgery if it was really necessary). Their opinion was that if I wanted an epicanthoplasty, I could do it only halfway. Maybe because they have a patent on the outer-lower canthoplasty, they recommended that procedure. But I've seen reviews saying the outer-lower canthoplasty stuck together, so I'm still thinking about it...
