The director was kind, charismatic, and very straightforward by nature. Since she was a woman like me, I felt she empathized well with the areas I was deliberating over. What was disappointing was that when I said an area was a concern, the response was immediately, “Let’s do that too.” It was not the kind of response where she examined me carefully and said it would be good to do it for specific reasons, or that I probably did not need it.
