I was only planning cartilage suturing, but because my cartilage was not large and my nose was made of soft tissue, they honestly told me it might not be dramatic. Still, it was a closed procedure and well-known, so I got one more consultation elsewhere before deciding. How did I decide? I decided not to do it... I will just live as I am. If my nose had needed alar reduction too, I might have done it instead? I will just manage swelling, contour my nose to look a bit smaller, and live that way. I also consulted about double-eyelid surgery, and it was the only one of five places that did not recommend ptosis correction.
