I got a consultation a few years ago, and back then I knew nothing and just went along with a friend. Even so, they explained things kindly. From what I heard, cosmetic consultations usually go in the order manager-director-manager, but here it was director-manager (the manager additionally explains what the director said and gives the cost estimate), so it felt a bit more trustworthy..? The manager also felt like someone who had worked with the director for a long time, and unlike the cosmetic managers I think of these days, she wasn't pushy
