They didn't force surgery on me and told me that I might need it again when I get older. But the first thing they said was, "Are you going to have surgery?" They didn't seem to push surgery unless it was really necessary. So I trusted them more, but they didn't clearly say whether it was removal or repositioning, so there was a bit of ambiguity in my judgment, although it was nice that both local and sedation anesthesia were possible.
