I thought the old straight silicone had caused the tip of my nose to drop, so I went for a consultation about revision surgery. Since they said they have a lot of experience, my expectations are high. In the photos, I could also see asymmetry I had not noticed before. They said they would use custom silicone to correct a bit of the asymmetry, and I hope it goes well. They took CT, took face photos, and then did the consultation. I was glad they did not push functional nose surgery like some other places, and they recommended removing the existing silicone and placing silicone again. I am not sure whether my nose can manage without an implant.. They said I do not necessarily have to use my own costal cartilage, and that donor costal cartilage would be fine too, so for now I am thinking about donor costal cartilage.
