15 years ago I had contour surgery done here by a surgeon, but I can’t remember the name. My cheekbones didn’t come in enough, so I had to undergo surgery twice with tears in my eyes. My chin was recessed, so I had the chin advanced, but I regret not having the entire lower jaw advanced with two-jaw surgery. Back then, the director focused a lot on my protruding mouth and talked about that point, but if I had studied more and understood my face better, I think I would have strongly asked to improve my mandibular hypoplasia. Thinking about why the director didn’t focus on the lower jaw, it seems they were probably thinking about improving it through chin advancement rather than the much larger operation of two-jaw surgery.
