The director was thorough and the consultation manager and staff were all nice. I wanted a thread-fixation surgery, but they strongly recommended Endotine, so I went with that. It turned out well the way I wanted, but unlike what I was told at the hospital, even after more than 2 years the area where Endotine was used is still palpable by hand... When I am tired or feel like my immune system is low, it sometimes gets extremely itchy, and if I scratch it hard, the Endotine area swells up like a lump. It goes down after I sleep, but it is still kind of bothersome. The hospital itself also does not really know why, and said it has probably mostly been absorbed, but if it is really uncomfortable they could make a small incision and remove the Endotine. But then they would have to suture again and I would not be able to wash my hair, so I did not do that, but it still bothers me. Still, I liked that they did not just act like it was over and wash their hands of me.
