I had a consultation for my first nose surgery as a man. The doctor explained everything exactly in his usual way, straight from his standard script, and there was no fluff. However, my septum is very deviated, and with septoplasty plus inferior turbinate surgery they quoted 850,000 won extra, but at another hospital they said if there are no symptoms, why bother? And that an ENT clinic could handle it quickly. Autologous costal cartilage was 11 million won, and even after the review discount it was definitely more expensive than other hospitals. The manager didn’t seem to have much more surgical insight than someone who had studied plastic surgery from YouTube.
