A friend had it done here and recommended it, so I went for a consultation. I have a monolid, but I pursue extreme naturalness, so my ideal look is for only the inner/front part to lift a little into a subtle inner-fold or thin inline look, so just the front of the eyes shows a bit more. Since entering my late 20s, the fat in my eyelids has thinned out, so when I try inline, semi-out, or out-line styles, the line forms well. In particular, an extremely high out-line (a monolid-like look that does not come out from double-eyelid surgery, but the double-eyelid height is so high that it sits in a position where it becomes sausage eyes) gives the deepest crease and the easiest folds. When I told the director my ideal look, he said that an inline shape with only the front slightly lifted matched my needs, but because my eyes will continue to sag as I age, the double-eyelid height will come down, so for long-term maintenance I would need to raise the line at least to a certain degree more than I had imagined. But to me that looked way too much like sausage eyes I think that is because my eye structure itself is protruding, and the area just above the eyeball looks especially puffy, so it probably looked even more like that. One side has ptosis, so he recommended ptosis correction plus buried-suture surgery on only that side. I was worried because I have a monolid, but he said it is not a difficult eye for surgery. I also asked about epicanthoplasty, but he advised against it because it would leave a scar. It was a little different from what I wanted, so I hesitated, but he did not push anything excessive at all. He only recommended what I actually needed, and even when I asked a lot of questions, he seemed a little annoyed, but he kept checking everything carefully like a tsundere I kept saying I wanted the line lower, but he said it is better to have surgery only once, that not only the present but also 10 or 20 years from now matter, and if I lower it now it will all come down later, so he spoke objectively. So even though it did not match my needs, I came to trust the director. If people around me say they are worrying about double-eyelid surgery, I think I would recommend a consultation here. The price was 880,000 KRW per side for buried-suture surgery, 330,000 KRW per side for ptosis correction, and 660,000 KRW per side for epicanthoplasty. The consultation fee was 5,000 KRW.
