I had surgery on 2021.12.30. Honestly, this wasn’t really the place I wanted to do it at. Since I wanted to do my eyes and nose together, I visited about five hospitals, and among them Ruby had the shortest waiting time and kept its appointments well. I also checked Naver receipt reviews to judge more carefully, and there were no major bad reviews. The first reason I went was because the assigned manager tried to squeeze out a small deposit in every way possible, so I ended up leaving 30,000 won there. At the first consultation, I met Director Ha Gi-young, and he was really kind, gentle, and calm, which I liked. He even carried celebrity photos on a tablet and showed them to me. The reason I didn’t choose this director was that there were almost no reviews on Babitalk and Gangnam Unni, so I switched to the chief director, and I regret it. My first impression was right after all. When I consulted with the chief director, it felt like the consultation lasted less than 3 minutes. He cut me off, saying I kept saying the same thing.. I was anxious, so one month before surgery I called the hospital again and asked whether they really listened carefully to patients’ needs. They said I would get a 30-minute consultation with the manager and director on the day of surgery and they would finalize the design, so I went trusting them. On the surgery day, the manager explained the instructions, then I met the director. He only marked the desired height of the double eyelid line and asked about that, and for the nose he just asked me to show the nose I wanted. I showed him two photos of Kim Tae-hee’s nose, and that was it; period. I expected him to at least ask where on the nose I wanted the bridge to start, how wide I wanted it, and to do the design right there before going in, but that was really all he asked. Then we went straight into the operating room, and in my panic I asked to make it natural and not to make it look like a Gangnam-style face, and he said he would make it pretty on his own, and then kept saying things like it’s okay if it becomes a pretty Gangnam-style look~~ So now, as of 10 days after surgery, my nose shape after the swelling goes down feels way too vague, and whenever I look in the mirror it looks like a chalk nose, which is giving me huge stress, so this Friday I’m going back with my family to confront them.
