I wanted my outer eye corners lowered to get a softer image, so I had a consultation and procedure on the same day. The director came to a private consultation room, told me the features of my eyes, and explained how the candy canthoplasty would proceed. There were levels they could lower it by, and I was worried that lowering it too much would look awkward, so I went with a moderate middle level. But after a few months, the outer corners of my eyes rose back up somewhat. That's a little disappointing. It wasn't bruised or anything, but there was some swelling starting the next day, and opening and closing my eyes felt stiff, and my expression became too awkward, so recovery took about a week.
