Because the pull at the inner corner of my eyes was strong, they recommended incision rather than buried suture surgery. Since I had heard about upper canthoplasty at another hospital, I asked whether it was necessary, and they strongly denied it (personally, I also thought the epicanthal fold was not deep and the distance between my eyes was appropriate, so that felt good). In the same context, they also told me not to do outer lower canthoplasty. I heard they pursue naturalness, but surprisingly, when it came to line height, when I said I wanted it thin, they said thinner is not always better and that for my eyes, having a bit of height would be best. Overall, I felt the confidence that comes from experience. I also liked that it was local anesthesia!
