For a long time, the outer corners of my eyes were slightly upturned and the back of my eyes looked cramped, so I considered the lower outer corner canthoplasty and eventually had surgery. During the consultation, I explained the look I wanted, and they designed it naturally to match my eye shape, which gave me confidence. Right after surgery there was some swelling and foreign-body sensation, and my eyes felt a bit awkward, but as time passed and the swelling went down, they became more natural. At first I worried that it might look too obvious, but once it settled, my eyes looked much clearer and longer than before.
