I had surgery a long time ago, before canthoplasty had become very mainstream, expecting a reasonable price and reasonable results. I think it was probably in 2009. This hospital's opening date is listed as 2013 on the site, but that's probably wrong. I had mine done in 2009, haha. It was Geo even then. Back then there was Director Cha and one other doctor, and the other doctor moved to Suwon after a while. I went to Yeongtong to meet a friend and saw an ad board while waiting. I had already had double eyelid surgery done somewhere else before that, and they said there was no need for revision, so I only had inner and outer canthoplasty. I don't remember much about the consultation with the director, and during surgery I had a lot of conversation with the doctor and adjusted the degree of the canthoplasty as we went along (local anesthesia). Nowadays there are many hospitals that are really advanced at this, but at that time, around 2008 or 2009, it wasn't bad for that era. The scar from the inner canthoplasty turned inward so it's not very visible, and the outer canthoplasty did lift a bit, but it's still better than not having done it. I had a lot of conversation with the doctor and adjusted the needed parts while having the surgery, so I'm fairly satisfied. I remember there was a slight smell of cigarettes on the doctor's hands. If someone were to get surgery, I would recommend it. First, there is experience; even before my surgery they had been doing canthoplasty for a long time, and they also seem to do a lot of double eyelids. If they managed to survive for a long time in Apgujeong, they probably have the skills. They don't seem to do event promotions much on plastic surgery apps, so it seems like a hospital that can keep itself going without that kind of thing, with solid fundamentals.
