Escaped midface anxiety after rhinoplasty

I only cropped the nose because I was worried someone might recognize me, but before surgery my midface was so long that my lips and nose were almost touching. I also had a hump, a broad nasal tip, and a long nose, so I had all three: a long nose, a hump, and a bulbous nose. Usually people seem to search by one keyword, like bulbous nose or hump nose, and then look for a hospital that specializes in that, but I had all three, so searching was hard Even if a hospital is famous for bulbous noses, it might not be good for humps, and so on... So it took quite a while to dig through reviews, but once I narrowed down the list and went to consultations in person, deciding on a hospital was not that hard. Surprisingly, there were not many places that carefully looked at each of my concerns one by one and made a surgical plan around them. Still, among the two places with good consultations, I did hesitate at the end, but I had surgery at the place whose review photos were a little closer to the image I wanted. Also, since it was my first surgery, I felt burdened by the idea of using costal cartilage, and when I looked up reviews of the place where I had surgery, most of them seemed to use autologous costal cartilage, so honestly I wondered whether I should even go to the consultation. The estimate seems to vary from person to person? Since my skin is on the thin side, they said costal cartilage might show through, so I used ear cartilage and septal cartilage together. But the result came out high and glamorous just like with costal cartilage, so I am satisfied. It has held up well too. At one month, most of the major swelling was already gone, and by around three months the remaining swelling was also fading, so when I went out with makeup it looked natural. Still, it felt like it took about half a year for all the residual swelling to disappear. After the surgery, the distance between my nose and lips increased a lot, which I like, and the midface area also looks much smaller, so I am satisfied.
