4 years ago, I had silicone, septum, osteotomy, and functional nose surgery at another hospital, and I had a re-correction within less than a week. After that, while living with it, I kept worrying about the feeling of the silicone being palpable, so I decided on revision rhinoplasty. During the consultation with the surgeon, I was able to look at the CT together and receive a detailed explanation of my current nasal condition, and I liked that they told me one by one which direction the surgery should take. For this revision rhinoplasty, autologous costal cartilage was used for the bridge and tip, and revision surgery for deviated septum was also performed. After surgery, my nose had a throbbing feeling for about two days, and the harvest site for the costal cartilage improved a lot after about three days too. Most of all, I was glad that I could remove the nasal packing the very next day after surgery haha On the day of surgery, it was convenient because the instructions about postoperative precautions and the medication had already been prepared in advance. Even when I first checked the nose line after removing the splint, I was satisfied because it seemed to come out the way I wanted. I could feel that the surgeon kept checking my progress and paying attention to aftercare too. I thought they might have a hard time remembering my condition one by one because there are so many patients, but it was also nice that they kept checking carefully throughout treatment. If I came at my scheduled time, the waiting time was not long, and I have been satisfied with the overall hospital system, the surgeon, and the staff so far.
