The swelling would probably go down on its own over time, but focusing on reducing the swelling definitely seems to have made it go down better than I expected. It’s been a month since I had revision eye surgery and epicanthoplasty at ㅌㅂ, and it feels like things have settled a lot. A lot of the swelling in my eye line has disappeared too. For the epicanthoplasty, I’ve been carefully applying scar ointment, so it opened up nicely without leaving a scar. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my eyes right now.. haha My first surgery was with buried sutures, so natural adhesion was possible, so for the revision eye surgery I did natural adhesion instead of an incision. Since it wasn’t an incision, I definitely think that’s also why it settled faster haha For now, I feel like if I wear eye makeup with my eyes as they are, it might not even be that obvious I had surgery??
