Everyone, I finally had my nose surgery… I was really, really nervous, but once I actually went in, it felt like it was over faster than I expected. When I looked in the mirror right after the surgery, I honestly couldn’t see the shape well because of the packing and splint The hardest part is that my nose feels completely blocked, and since I have to breathe through my mouth, my throat got extremely dry. The pain wasn’t as severe as I expected, but the area around my nose feels heavy and numb? Especially when I laugh or make facial expressions, there’s a bit of a pulling sensation. The swelling started coming up right away, and it felt like the area around my eyes was slightly more swollen than my nose. I still don’t know whether it looks pretty or not, but for now I feel relieved just that it ended safely…
