After living with monolids for 20 years and constantly hearing that I looked sleepy, I finally made up my mind and got surgery! I went to consultations at as many as 4 clinics in one day, and I was really torn because every clinic told me something different. Then, at the last place I visited, the director at Geunal Plastic Surgery professionally suggested only exactly what I needed: a high in-out fold, ptosis correction, and fat removal, so I trusted them and decided right away. In the first week after surgery, yellow bruising started coming up strongly from day 4, so I was a little startled. Still, I walked a lot and did cold compresses diligently to reduce the swelling quickly, and it went down before long. At first, I was worried that the line might be too dramatic, but just as the director said, after about a month it really settled in naturally. What I’m most satisfied with is that opening my eyes became easier, and the chronic headaches I had lived with my whole life completely disappeared haha. These days, when I wear makeup, it looks so natural that people can’t even tell I had surgery, and selfies with the basic camera come out much prettier, so I’m really happy. After seeing my eyes, two acquaintances have already booked consultations and even received surgery dates. I feel proud because that seems like proof that it turned out well. I’m so satisfied that the 20 years I spent worrying almost feel like a waste!
