Even after I slept and woke up, the undone double eyelid didn’t go back, so I had it redone. Instead of just matching the line again, based on my standards, they corrected the uneven eyes with an incision to match the shape of my right eye. Since they matched it to my original line, it definitely feels less awkward(?) than the first surgery, even with swelling. They said they couldn’t make it perfectly symmetrical like a complete left-right mirror image, but they could correct it so the unevenness wouldn’t be noticeable. And from what I heard during the consultation, they said they would wake me up in the middle while doing my eyes to match the eye line. Maybe?? I heard voices?? I feel like we may have talked, but I was half-asleep, so I’m not sure about this. Originally, if possible, I wanted to redo only one side, but they said redoing both sides would be better for symmetry, so I had both sides redone. For a revision surgery, I don’t think it turned out that noticeably obvious, and it seems reasonably okay. But since my under-eye area is a bit hollow, I do wonder if it would’ve been nice if they had also talked to me about under-eye fat repositioning Since I was already going under, I would’ve done it together... That’s a bit disappointing, but the rest was average.
