It’s already been 3 months since I had 3 facial contouring procedures at One Percent. For the first 1–2 weeks after surgery, it was so hard that I just hoped time would pass quickly, but seeing my face become slimmer after surgery made me feel amazed, happy, awkward, and all kinds of complicated emotions. After surgery, I think the intraoral wound area / pain / sore throat / phlegm were the hardest parts. Even when I slept, it didn’t feel like I was sleeping, and I think I slept sitting up for almost a month. Part of it was to reduce swelling, but when I lay flat, the phlegm seemed to get worse, so thinking back on that time, it was really hard Now that 3 months have passed, seeing that the swelling has gone down again makes it seem like it keeps gradually going down little by little for about a year. Comparing the photos, I can visibly see the swelling has gone down, which is amazing. I can still barely fit two fingers when opening my mouth. I think I may need to practice opening my mouth. For food, I’m trying to avoid hard or tough foods as much as possible. It has been 3 months since surgery, but I still try to take swelling tea and things that help with swelling every day. I’m so happy that after surgery, I can wear any hairstyle without stress. Before surgery, it was something I couldn’t even imagine. Whenever I tried to go out with my hair down, I worried, what if the wind blows, or what if someone is only staring at my chin? I used to spend so long styling my hair to make it less noticeable, but now I don’t have that stress, so every day is happy.
