<Reason> At 20, I had the tip of my nose lifted with ear cartilage without touching the bridge, and because I was impulsively taken there by my dad to his friend’s clinic, I had no idea what I was doing. As time passed, I kept noticing things I didn’t like and wanted revision surgery, but the revision cost was too expensive. Also, as I got older, I became more timid, so I kept worrying about it without being able to go through with it. Then I quit my job and had more time, so I started looking into revision surgery.
For reference, I work in an entertainment agency, so rather than hospitals that are famous on plastic-surgery apps or cafes in general, I just gathered information and got consultations at places that are quietly well-known in the industry. So these may not be the broadly famous hospitals.

1. ㄱㅇㅈ Plastic Surgery Clinic A place famous for doing nose surgeries for idols who appeared on Produce. They charge a consultation fee of 10,000 won, but it is worth it. They analyze my face well. - They pinpointed my complexes and suggested solutions, and said my facial features are all very small and tightly packed, so I absolutely need to keep it natural. In fact, they said I have a lot of facial space, so I should reduce my facial contour rather than focus on my nose - This is a place where the surgeon hates visible signs of surgery to an extreme degree and pursues naturalness, so the surgery may not look like surgery at all.
2. ㅇㅇㅅ Plastic Surgery Clinic I was recommended this place as a hospital that older actresses and announcers/reporters often go to, so I went for a consultation, but there aren’t many reviews online. - The director said to lose weight first, then the nose can be designed within the face after weight loss. Rather than doing everything at once, it’s better to try one thing at a time and make small adjustments to fit the face. Since you don’t know how the face or overall vibe will change after losing weight, doing everything at once is not recommended. - My face is cute-looking and my features are small, so they can’t raise it too much. If others raise it by 4, I’d only be raised by 2 or 3. 대신 they said they would do fat grafting to the forehead so it connects naturally with the forehead line. - The price was very expensive, but it was so expensive I think I erased it from my memory... I can’t remember...
3. ㅇㅇㅇ Plastic Surgery Clinic I went here because I saw a nose in a review that matched my style while reading plastic surgery reviews. This place has a rather glamorous style. - To make the nose tip I want, they said they’d need rib cartilage, not just regular cartilage. - To make the bridge I want, they said osteotomy or something like that would be necessary; just doing it as is would be difficult. - I was 부담스럽고 hesitant about using rib cartilage, so when I asked, “Couldn’t it be done with cartilage?” the director got a bit offended and blurted out, as if wronged, “You have to give me materials too!!!!!” which was so funny - Honestly, the nose shape was my style, but I gave up because I felt uneasy about using autologous or donor rib cartilage and was afraid of osteotomy.
4. Plastic Surgery Clinic A place famous for revision surgery. They say the director is a god of revision rhinoplasty. I went for a consultation right away because I heard that someone who is good at revision surgery is truly skilled, more than someone who is just good at regular nose surgery, and that the more revision cases they have, the more know-how they have, so they can do it right in one shot and prevent any further revision. This is also a place that competes purely on skill without advertising, so it’s hard to find reviews online, but after deciding on nose surgery and searching other cafes, it seems they’ve started doing promotion lately, so keep that in mind. (This was the last consultation I went to, so by then I had already learned my exact nose preferences through all the places I visited and had picked up a lot from the other consultations.)
- First, since I hated my upturned nose so much, I said I wanted the tip lowered and showed a photo of Go Youn-jung, and they told me not to worry because lowering the tip would not be a problem. - They explained the difference between Go Youn-jung’s face and mine. Go Youn-jung has a three-dimensional Western-style face, whereas mine has a somewhat sunken nose and cheeks, a wider midface, and above all a short nose, so a strong bridge that starts from the glabella like Go Youn-jung’s would not suit me. - Then my younger sibling asked whether osteotomy would be a way to raise the bridge, and they absolutely said no. In fact, what matters just as much as appearance is doing the surgery well so that another revision is never needed, and they explained in great detail how to do revision surgery well. The consultation also took the longest. - The director has done a lot of research and published many papers related to revision rhinoplasty, and is recognized overseas, so they explained the revision technique to me. I didn’t understand 100% of it, but in any case, I felt they would do it safely and well so that I would never need another revision.
Actually, this is my third nose surgery After my second revision, I quit following plastic surgery cafes, but I never thought I’d end up being active in them again... I really hope this is the last time...
