Since it was my first nose surgery, I was worried, but they kindly explained everything from the consultation, so I felt reassured and was able to go ahead with it. I had heard that many places perform nose surgery under general anesthesia for over 4 hours, but here it took less than 2 hours and was done under sedation anesthesia, which I liked. The part I was most worried about was pain after surgery, but I was surprised because my nose didn’t hurt at all! Of course, there was inevitably some pain at the autologous costal cartilage harvest site, but it didn’t last long, and the incision line was smaller than I expected, which was good. The swelling on the day of surgery felt like I had eaten about 2 packs of ramyeon, and after that there was hardly any swelling. Now even more swelling has gone down, so it looks more natural. I think it’s because they didn’t make my nose excessively high and made it naturally suit my face.
