It’s been over two months since I had my first rhinoplasty with a 3D custom DCF by Director Kim Hyun-joo at RU Plastic Surgery. Compared to the 1-month mark, it feels a little slimmer, and as I can feel the residual swelling gradually going down, the hump I noticed at 1 month is becoming a little more clearly visible. The one relief is that it doesn’t show much when I take photos. I wanted a straight-to-slightly-curved line for the surgery, so that’s what I received. I was told that at first it would look more straight, and as time passed, the swelling went down, and there was some absorption, the line I wanted would come out. Maybe because of the hump that formed, it still feels more like a straight line than a straight-to-slightly-curved line. When I touch it with my hand, I can also feel a step-off, so I just hope it doesn’t get any bigger and ends at a level that can be covered by natural-looking results. Other than that, I like the shape and position of the nasal bridge and nasal tip. Still, they say the overall nose shape is only finalized after 3 months.. so for now, I’m going to wait and see.
