This is a review of my breast surgery. Day 8 I think I agonized thousands of times before deciding to have breast surgery at a not-so-young age. I kept worrying, thinking, “If I was going to do it, I should have done it in my 20s…” and “Am I doing this for no reason now that I’m older?” But I finally made up my mind. You only live once, so let’s try the things I’ve wanted to do! While looking into hospitals, a place called Fore matched my thoughts so well. I wanted to have the surgery, but I wanted it to look natural… I didn’t want the size to be too big, and I wanted a shape that suited my body type… Most importantly, I wanted the incision site to be the armpit! If it’s done through the inframammary fold, not only can the scar be visible when lying down, but there’s also no guarantee the scar will disappear 100% cleanly, so I absolutely wanted the armpit approach. Director Kim Min-young at Fore also said, “Breast surgery is done to become prettier, so leaving scars on the breasts makes no sense!” Since it is a body-contouring specialty hospital, I trusted that they would choose the size and shape to suit my body type. I scheduled the surgery right away and had the smallest size, Motiva Mini, inserted: 205 on the right and 220 on the left. I had slight asymmetry between my breasts. As a result, the size became exactly what I wanted^^ I had heard that armpit surgery hurts more than inframammary incision surgery, so I was a little worried, but all the reviews for Fore said it was painless, and on the day of surgery! I was lucky and got painless surgery too haha I had the stitches removed one week after surgery. The feel is still firm, but that is something that will resolve with time, so I’m not worried haha Oh! Fore operates with a single-director system, and the director personally handles everything from surgery to aftercare. Also, the director even gives out their personal number, so if you ask any questions at any time, they reply directly. There are not many places with this kind of aftercare, so I think it’s a really great place.
