It has already been 4 months since I had breast surgery! Summer is getting closer, so these days I feel even more excited!! Before surgery, I also looked up so many reviews, and I was especially curious about reviews that described the day-by-day progress in detail. So for people who may be curious like I was, I organized my recovery process starting from day 1!
Before surgery I originally had almost no volume, an AAA cup. The goals I considered most important were • breasts that naturally suited my body type • natural-looking results that would not look obvious • fast recovery and safety
I currently live abroad, so I could not stay in Korea for long, and my company only allowed 2 weeks of vacation, so a fast recovery was really important to me.
After several consultations with Director Kim Min-young at the clinic, I decided on Motiva Mini. Since she specializes in surgery through only the armpit incision, I trusted her expertise even more, and I was told that if surgery is done through the inframammary fold, the scar never completely disappears. In the end, I decided it made sense to have the surgery at a hospital that is truly good at transaxillary breast augmentation.
I did not decide on the exact size. I only set the range at 220-240 cc and decided to leave it to the director during surgery to choose the size that best suited my body type. That was because, through the consultation, I came to trust the director's aesthetic sense.
In the end, the surgery was done with 245 cc. ⸻ Recovery process
Day 1 After surgery, in the recovery room, I had almost no breast pain. My body felt a little cold and I felt nauseous. The nurses kept taking warm care of me, so I felt better quickly! (I am truly grateful to the nurses. Thank you so much for caring for me like my mom.)
After I woke up from anesthesia, the director explained how the surgery had gone, and my first question was, "Doctor, I have no pain at all... Am I currently under the effect of a pain injection? Or could the pain come strongly later?" She said a painless injection was unnecessary and only had many side effects, so she did not give it. She said the reason I had almost no pain was because the dissection was done accurately and cleanly, so there was little bleeding! Wow... I was really surprised! ⸻ Day 2 I visited the hospital to check the surgical area and drainage tube.
I only had a little stiffness and fatigue, and there was no major discomfort! After the hospital visit, I even went out for brunch with a friend lol. The weather was chilly, so the drainage tube was naturally covered by my sweater! ⸻ Day 3 Since I could not come to Korea often, I wanted to make good use of my time, so I went out with my parents and went to a cafe!
Of course, I could not raise my arms high or stretch, but daily life was almost possible. Even my parents were surprised and said, "Does breast surgery recover this quickly these days?" ⸻ Day 4 Using my arms became natural enough that I could even cook at home by myself. Cutting vegetables with a knife and stir-frying them in a pan were all possible! ⸻ Day 7 After stitch removal, I learned how to do the taping. They even filmed a video for me in case I forgot at home, so it was easy to follow along at home.
The weather was nice that day too, so I went shopping in Seoul, had brunch, and even went to an art museum. I walked almost 10,000 steps, but there was no major problem! I could not believe someone who had breast surgery could get around this well.. ⸻ Day 10 I traveled 2 hours by car to attend a friend's wedding!
I was worried about the long trip, but there was no problem at all. ⸻ Day 11 Final check before leaving Korea.
Because it was an armpit incision, when I sweat a little it felt stinging, so after getting the director's recommendation, I immediately got armpit sweat Botox too. After surgery, I came to trust everything the director says lololol. Since she did the surgery this well, I trust everything! ⸻ Day 12 An 11-hour long-haul flight.
The cabin was so hot that my back was sweating, and the armpit sweat Botox was truly a stroke of genius. I flew comfortably without discomfort at the surgical area. ⸻ Day 14 Returned to work (not an office job)
Work that involved walking and using my arms was also possible without major issues. There were times when I had to lightly lift items around 15-20 kg, but I did it carefully, slowly, and gently, and it was fine. It was everyday life as usual, to the point that none of my coworkers knew I had surgery. ⸻ Week 3 If you looked closely, there was a slight implant-like feel, but it was much more natural than I expected. There was no pain at all, and the most uncomfortable thing was the compression underwear. There was still swelling at this stage! ⸻ Month 2 I became able to alternate between compression underwear and regular bras.
For the first time, I went to a Skims store and picked out a bra, and for the first time in my life, it felt really good to choose pretty underwear. I even asked the staff how to choose a bra.
The size was 34B.
For me, who had been AAA, it was a truly happy moment. ⸻ Month 4 Now it feels like they have settled almost completely naturally. However, the left side moves a little more naturally, and the right side feels like it moves slightly less.
I asked the director, and she said it is a process to observe until 6 months, so I decided to wait a little longer.
Even now, they are natural enough, and the size suits my slim body type perfectly, so I am very satisfied.
At Uniqlo, a 32BC bra fit me well.

If you want breasts that suit you, with really fast recovery and no pain, I definitely recommend Director Kim Min-young at the clinic! My life has changed.. She creates a natural and beautiful silhouette! The phrase "body atelier" really suits the clinic! This is just my thought, but when the director designed the markings on my breasts before surgery, I felt like she had good artistic skills.. I wondered if she had also majored in art... Just kidding! Anyway, I was really worried because I thought it was such a major surgery, but it felt very comfortable and went easily! I can only think that it was all thanks to the director! I cannot believe breast surgery could be this easy..
Of course, not everyone can be exactly the same as me, but I think the fact that a surgical case like mine exists shows the director's real skill! At least go for a consultation. You will understand what I mean! Ah, you will feel that Director Kim Min-young sincerely tries to create a work of art!
