On day 100 after surgery, I can definitely feel that my facial line has changed every time I look in the mirror. Thanks to my face looking slimmer overall, my side jawline appears more defined, and my cheekbones and anterior cheek contours feel more enhanced. People around me sometimes ask, “Did you lose some weight?” but honestly, rather than a change in weight, I think the effect of the surgery in refining my facial lines is much greater. It hasn’t completely stabilized yet, but the firm tissue texture I feel around the cheekbones, anterior cheeks, chin tip, and square jaw areas seems to make me feel that the postoperative fibrosis is naturally loosening. As I notice my facial line changing little by little every day, I’m looking forward to seeing how sharp the final result will be once the remaining recovery process is included.
