After thinking constantly between Preserve / regular breast augmentation, I decided on Preserve after the consultation because it seemed better in terms of safety + incision size + faster recovery! I kept worrying about the cc amount even until the day of surgery, but decided to proceed exactly as discussed during the consultation! The surgery took about 1 hour from when I entered the operating room. They said the actual surgery took about 30 minutes..!!
Right after surgery, I had no pain, but my throat was so dry and parched, and I drank water like crazy all day.... Looking at many reviews, people said their belly sticks out as the swelling goes down, but mine was just sticking out from the beginning.. I can’t even remember whether it was swelling or just my original belly... I think my belly was bloated for almost a week after surgery. I was seriously worried.... scared that this might really be my fat.. or that it would turn into fat..
From day 3, my whole breasts and nipples hurt so much (stinging?) On day 6, I visited the clinic for my 1-week checkup, changed from the corrective bra to a Uniqlo bra, received physical therapy, saw the director, and that was it! Now I’m around day 10~11, and my breasts feel a bit heavy overall, and my nipples still hurt with a stinging feeling... I’m thinking about using nipple patches, but I can’t because I think it’ll hurt when I take them off... haha
Still, I’m very satisfied! Recovery is definitely fast, and even though I went about daily life from the same day, there were no problems at all! If you’re not worried about the cost, I highly recommend Preserve over regular augmentation 👍🏻👍🏻
