3-Month Review of Autologous Costal Cartilage + Short Nose Correction!

Before surgery, my nose was generally on the low side, so my biggest concern was that my face looked flat. The nasal tip also had a blunt, bulbous look, so it seemed even more noticeable in photos. That’s why I started looking into bulbous nose correction and short nose correction together. I went to consultations at several clinics, and I mainly looked for single-doctor clinics. I felt more at ease knowing the same director would personally handle everything from surgery to follow-up care. During the consultation, the director didn’t push anything excessively and seemed to speak honestly, so I felt I could trust them. That’s why I decided on this clinic. I had surgery using autologous costal cartilage, and I had bulbous nose correction and short nose correction done together. I’m now 3 months post-op, and most of the major swelling has gone down. Compared to the beginning, my nasal tip has also become much more natural. At first, because of the swelling, it looked slightly high, but as time passed, it seems to be gradually settling into place. The shape of my nose also feels much more refined than before, so I think my satisfaction when taking photos has gone up too. It will still need more time to fully settle, but based on how it is now, I’d say my satisfaction is around upper-middle. My overall low nose has improved, and the bulbous look has been cleaned up a lot, so I’m satisfied because my impression looks much neater than before. I think it will continue to settle more naturally, so I’m planning to keep watching the progress.
