In December, when I was getting revision double eyelid surgery, I had my mom get upper and lower blepharoplasty too. She was so upset because her eyelids and under-eye sagging made her look older. I heard that the director at BPYP, where I was getting my revision double eyelid surgery, is also good at middle-aged cosmetic surgery lol. I took her for a consultation, and he examined her carefully, and my mom liked him too, so on the same day, my mom and I held hands and got cosmetic surgery together lololol. For me, there wasn’t a huge change because I was just fixing my previous line that had loosened, but my mom really does seem to look much younger after surgery? Since she’s older, I was a bit worried about recovery, but the swelling seems to have gone down pretty quickly lol. My dad teased both my mom and me a lot, saying our eyes were all swollen, but after seeing my mom fully recovered, he says he’s jealous and wants it done too lolol
