Double eyelid non-incisional surgery review! I had the surgery on 1/14, and now a little over 5 weeks have passed. I only had bruising on my right eye, and even on the day of surgery, the swelling wasn’t that bad! I had to go overseas 3 weeks after surgery, so I diligently did cold compresses (3 days) + warm compresses, and the bruising was all gone after 1 week. To talk a bit about the day of surgery, I drove there, but traffic was so bad. My surgery was at 11, and they told me to come 30 minutes early, but I ended up arriving at almost 11:20!! I felt so sorry, but not a single person at the clinic got annoyed, so I was really grateful.. As soon as I arrived, I changed clothes, washed my face, and took photos. Then the director designed the line for me, and at that time, they kept adjusting the line until I was definitely okay with it! I wanted a slightly higher in-out line, and I liked that the director clearly told me, “Any higher than this will look strange.”
Then I lay down on the operating bed, was restrained, and they placed the IV line. I was worried because my veins are really weak, but they got it in perfectly on the first try! After the director came in and the sleep medication went in, I have no memory until the surgery was over lol. And after the surgery, the director handed me a hand mirror and told me the surgery went well, but that it was such a shame there was bruising.
After that, I moved to the recovery room, did cold compresses, and left the clinic!
A few days ago, I visited the clinic for my 1-month postoperative follow-up. They took photos, and the director personally checked whether the symmetry was good and asked if I had any questions. I really liked that!
