It’s already been half a year since my surgery. Ever since I was young, I was so thin that my ribs showed, so I had long since given up on having breast volume. Because my cups were empty, clothes didn’t fit nicely, and there was space left inside my bra, so whenever I bent my head down, I was always worried that my nipple might show through my clothes. I lived with that stress, and once I turned exactly thirty, I started thinking, this is my life, so I should do what I want to do.
So I decided to get surgery, but since I had so little body fat, I was worried about side effects or looking artificial. I think I spent months just looking into clinics. I’m easily scared too, so I must have redone my clinic list dozens of times, and I searched cafes and YouTube almost like I was studying.
Among them, the place I was most looking forward to consulting with was JW. I had looked them up on YouTube too, and their explanations were really good. It did feel a little boring at times, but I liked that they explained implants, surgical methods, and so on in a lot of detail. Their YouTube also felt a bit meticulous, and when I went for the consultation, they really did examine my body type carefully and didn’t explain things in a vague way, which I liked.
Because I have a body type with very little fat, they said that if I only got implants, the implant edges could all show and the feel might not be good, so they recommended combination surgery with fat grafting too. They said they would put fat into the upper breast and cleavage area to make the shape and edges look more natural. I knew my own shortcomings too, but it was good that they suggested a realistic solution for that part.. It didn’t simply feel like upselling; the consultation was that thorough.
From the beginning, I considered a natural shape and feel the most important for the implants too. So I got Motiva 285 cc on the left and 300 cc on the right. I already had little fat, and my breasts were uneven, so they put in different sizes on each side, and I had fat grafting done together. The incision was inframammary.
Now I’m 6 months post-op, and I’m seriously so satisfied with the result lol First of all, the shape is so pretty, and I really escaped my elementary-schooler, childlike body type I love the naturally sloping line when seen from the side and the volume on the outer side of the breasts so much that every time I look in the mirror, I feel insanely proud lol. It looks really pretty when I wear a tight ribbed knit or a turtleneck Before, when I wore knitwear, I just looked like a log, but now my side profile has volume and definition, so I love it so, so, so much..
A little while ago, I went on a hotel staycation with friends and wore a swimsuit for the first time. Everyone was making a fuss, saying, “What happened to your breasts? Why do they look so natural?” lol They’re friends who know I had surgery, and they listened to me worry five hundred times before surgery about what I’d do if it looked obvious. But they kept asking which clinic it was because the line came out so pretty. They were curious about the feel too, so I said they could touch them, and they all took turns touching my breasts once lol It felt like they were touching some sacred stone lol Anyway, everyone said they feel good and turned out so well lol I really think getting fat grafting was the right choice. I also think it’s good that I didn’t go too big with the size and got just this much, so it doesn’t feel overwhelming.
I tend to wear a lot of sleeveless tops in summer, so I chose an inframammary incision, and even in photos, the scar is really barely noticeable lol They made the incision and sutured it so well, exactly along the crease under the breast, that the scar is naturally hidden in the fold. Now it’s almost invisible, so I feel relieved about that too.
If there’s anyone here who has a thin body type like me and is worried about their breasts, I hope you don’t struggle alone and definitely go find a director who really thinks about a shape that suits your body type. I’m already excited for the coming summer!! lol
