Eye Surgery Reviews

Creased double eyelids.. successfully finished revision surgery at a clinic

It was my third double-eyelid surgery, and I’m finally satisfied with how well it turned out I wasn’t asking for much; I just wanted the line to settle naturally. At the hospital where I had my first surgery, they said that because my eyelids were thin, if I did a non-incisional method, the line could form multiple creases, so they suggested an incisional method. I had the surgery that way, but it came undone within a few months, so after half a year I had revision surgery with natural adhesion. I thought that was really the end, but as time passed, the right line gradually developed overlapping creases and came undone again.. Because of that, I looked so tired, and since the lines on both sides were different, even with makeup it looked strange, so it was really stressful It’s not like I rubbed my eyes excessively with my hands, and it’s not like I failed to follow the post-op precautions. But seeing it come undone even after doing both incisional surgery and natural adhesion within a short period made me think it wasn’t just a double-eyelid problem… But the hospitals didn’t mention anything like that, so in the end I decided I should find a director who specializes in eyes and get revision surgery, and I started looking into it. When I had a consultation with Chief Director Kim Tae-hoon, I first heard about a surgical method called upper eyelid fat repositioning, which I hadn’t heard about anywhere else. He said that for eyes like mine, ptosis correction wouldn’t make the results last longer, and that because of the hollowing of the upper eyelids, it was right to solve that fundamental problem first. That was the surgical method he explained to me, and he said that after upper eyelid fat repositioning, if both lines were remade as in-out lines, it could be improved, so I decided to have the surgery. Other places just said ordinary things like I should do ptosis correction too, or that it would be fine with an incisional method, but this clinic’s surgical method made the most sense to me. After surgery, the swelling and bruising went down faster than I expected, which was surprising. At first, the swelling around the upper eyelids came up more, but after I received a swelling laser treatment at the hospital, it got better. If I ate salty food like malatang the day before, the swelling would come up slightly again... I repeated that for 1-2 weeks, and after 3 weeks it became much more stable, so the reactions around me were really good too. They said it seemed like my double-eyelid surgery really succeeded this time!! I only had my eyes done, but they said my overall image seemed to have changed too. I’m so relieved that the surgery finally seems to have turned out well in the style I wanted Everyone who is struggling like me because of upper eyelid hollowing, please look into upper eyelid fat repositioning surgery... For difficult eye revision surgery to succeed, you really need to get it done somewhere that carefully checks the condition of your eyelids and recommends surgery accordingly.
