Hello, I’m leaving a review 2 months after my nose surgery. Before surgery, I had always thought that I wanted to get surgery someday because of my drooping nasal tip and large bulbous nose, and I had the opportunity last December, so I ended up getting nose surgery. Since it was my first plastic surgery, I went to consultations at about 3 places. At the first clinic, I was told things like my nasal skin was thick, that alar reduction would definitely be good, and that it would be good to have paranasal augmentation as well, so I thought that plastic surgery was not something that could be finished with just one procedure. After that, I had a consultation with Director Kim Hyun-joo. After touching my nose directly, she told me that the skin on my nasal tip was on the thinner side and that I would likely improve sufficiently without alar reduction, which gave me an inexplicable sense of trust. I think my mind was already leaning this way at that point. At the third clinic, they only looked at me visually and said the same things as the first clinic, so I decided on RU Plastic Surgery that same day and even booked my surgery date. The surgery I had was rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. They said they would lower the columella, correct the bulbous nose, perform osteotomy, and insert only about 1 mm of silicone, and that my nasal septum was too deviated, so they would correct that as well. After rhinoplasty, I thought I was going to die until the packing was removed, but after the packing was taken out, I had no pain in my nose, and except for the area where the autologous rib cartilage surgery was done, there was no major difficulty with daily life, so I was a bit surprised. Now, if I had to pick what has improved, the drooping nasal tip has been completely corrected, and I’ve been told that my impression looks stronger than before, when it looked dull and indistinct. Also, if I don’t say that I had surgery, people ask whether I lost weight or say that my eyes look clearer, so the fact that it doesn’t look artificial or unnatural at all is what I’m most satisfied with.
