Originally, my eyes didn’t even have inner double eyelids, and there was no eyelid line at all. They were completely monolid eyes. So when I took photos or just stayed still with a blank expression, my eyes looked too intense, and honestly, I was often told that I looked a bit scary There are limits even with makeup, and especially with eye makeup, no matter how much I did, it barely showed, so that kept stressing me out. After thinking about it for a long time, I decided to get double eyelid surgery.
I went for a consultation at I-Ting Plastic Surgery Clinic because someone around me had a good result from double eyelid surgery there. Before the consultation, I had a lot of worries about this and that, but once I actually went, the atmosphere was comfortable, and above all, the consultation was very thorough. I said that rather than a dramatic line, I wanted a very natural-looking line, and after checking the condition of my eyes, they didn’t recommend that I add anything artificial. They only explained the direction that would suit my eyes, so I trusted them. From the first week after surgery, the swelling was not as bad as I expected. Honestly, I was really worried that swelling and bruising would make daily life difficult, but amazingly, I never bruised even once. There was no bleeding either, so going outside or meeting people didn’t feel burdensome at all haha
After the second week, as the swelling went down more, I started to visibly see the line becoming more defined. Around the third week, my eyes started to feel like they were gradually settling naturally, and since they didn’t look obviously like I had double eyelid surgery, but exactly had the feeling I wanted, my satisfaction went up even more.
What I liked most was that throughout the recovery process, there was never a time when it looked unsightly because of bleeding or bruising, and it didn’t interfere with my daily life at all. I could wear makeup again pretty quickly, and meeting people wasn’t burdensome. As time passed, the line gradually became thinner and felt like it was settling in as if it were my own eyes, so I’m very satisfied with that too!!!
