Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

I’m Very Satisfied With My Cheekbones

Hello. I had cheekbone reduction surgery on September 18 last year with Dr. Oh Jeong-seok at Contour Standard, and it’s already been 3 months. Now most of the major swelling has gone down, so I can clearly see that my face shape has become more refined.

The best part is definitely that the contour of my side cheekbones is gone. Before, my cheekbones made my face look wider and my impression look strong, but now that the line has become smoother, I hear so often that my impression looks much softer. When I tie my hair up or wear a hat, there are no protruding cheekbones, so every time I look in the mirror I think I made the right choice having the surgery. My mouth opening has recovered enough that I can easily fit about three fingers in.

However, one thing that concerns me during recovery is that sensation on the right cheekbone area still hasn’t returned 100%, while the left side feels almost like my own skin.

But on the right side, when I touch it, it still doesn’t feel like my own skin, and there’s still a numb, heavy feeling?

But the hospital said nerve recovery varies a lot from person to person and needs more time, so for now I’m going to wait calmly.

Overall, I like the change in my facial line even more than I expected, so my satisfaction is very high! I’m hoping the sensation will gradually improve as time passes too. There may be people like me whose recovery is a bit slow, but considering the visible change, I definitely think it’s a worthwhile surgery~
