Eye Surgery Reviews

What do you think of succeeding with lateral canthoplasty in one try?

The outer corners of my eyes were slightly asymmetrical, and since they were on the upturned side, I wanted to lower them gently. On top of that, the epicanthoplasty I had done before ended up uneven on one side, so I wanted to correct that part too. I searched a lot, and I really liked the surgical method and the director’s style, so I didn’t even get consultations elsewhere. I only went here and decided right away lol I think it was a good choice My right outer eye corner used to be more upturned, but now the angle of the outer corner is similar to my left eye, and the uneven epicanthoplasty that had really stressed me out was corrected in a way I like. I kept thinking that if I had done the epicanthoplasty here from the beginning, I wouldn’t have had such a hard time. Still, I’m glad my lateral canthoplasty succeeded in one try at Barabon.. I really didn’t want a revision surgery, so I looked into it that much. I have a cat-like facial image, and I had asked them not to make that image disappear completely, you know? Director Oh Hyun-bae understood exactly and I think he did it well with a refined feel haha. I felt comfortable on the day of surgery too, and on day 10 I was nervous because I heard removing lateral canthoplasty stitches hurts a lot, but the director was so delicate that honestly it hurt less than removing the epicanthoplasty stitches. Even when removing the stitches, he said, “It may hurt a bit~” and I think he was really kind. I’m still only at 3 months, so it’ll settle more as time passes, but I’m satisfied even now!
