I had been worried about my face shape for a long time. In particular, my round face and prominent-looking cheekbones always bothered me, and I would feel stressed every time I took photos. While looking into several clinics, I learned about a facial contouring clinic, and after receiving a consultation, I decided to have surgery. During the consultation, Dr. Oh Jung-seok carefully analyzed my facial structure and told me that I could expect a sufficiently good result, which made me trust him, and those words gave me a lot of courage.
Right after the cheekbone surgery, the swelling increased a lot, just as I had expected. For the first few days, I was a little worried because I was not used to how I looked in the mirror, but after hearing the clinic explain that this was a normal reaction within the recovery process they had guided me through, I was able to feel reassured. As time passed, my recovery sped up, and from the second week, the major swelling visibly went down and my facial contour began to settle naturally. People around me often said it looked like I had lost weight, but I think the effect of my contour becoming more refined was greater than any actual weight change.
At present, I do not have much discomfort in daily life, and my mouth is gradually opening better as well. I still feel like one eyebrow does not rise naturally, but I was told it would return with time, so I am waiting. Overall, I am satisfied with the result, and compared with before surgery, I can feel that my face shape has changed into a much softer and more balanced appearance.
Unlike when I was first considering surgery, now every time I look in the mirror, I feel that my choice was not wrong. Recovery is still ongoing, but I can already see a major change, and I am looking forward to further improvement.
