First of all, I had a consultation at 431 and got nose surgery. Even before the surgery, I was really worried that there might not be much correction, but in the end, I’m satisfied. For me, they used septal cartilage and silicone, and when I was first researching, there weren’t many reviews, so I’m writing one!
First, on the day of surgery, I was extremely worried, and since I live outside Seoul, I went for surgery as soon as I arrived in Seoul. As soon as I got there, I changed clothes, took pre-op photos, lay down on the operating table, and the director designed my nose. Before the sleep anesthesia, the director helped me relax and told me to ask anything I was curious about, so we talked, and then it was over. Then when I opened my eyes, I was in the recovery room. As soon as I arrived at my accommodation, I took my medicine and ate porridge. But my mouth wouldn’t open well, so I couldn’t eat much. On the first day, as expected, I absolutely couldn’t breathe. I thought I was going to die.. Maybe because of that, I had a headache, and strangely, my mouth hurt too. So I couldn’t sleep and just kept sleeping for 10 minutes, waking up, and repeating that.
Oh right! And you really have to use a humidifying mask. Thanks to that, my throat didn’t hurt at all!!
Still, on day 2, they removed the cotton at the hospital, then I took the train home and just kept sitting on my bed. As soon as I got home, I turned on the humidifier first. I still didn’t have much swelling, and the day passed peacefully.
On days 3 and 4, a lot of yellow nasal discharge and runny nose started coming out. That was so uncomfortable. And it kept throbbing. Even though it wasn’t anything major, I kept worrying, so I looked things up.
On days 5 and 6, I was so uncomfortable because of the runny nose that I eventually bought saline solution and sterile cotton swabs and cleaned inside my nose. And even after taking medicine, it still throbbed. Still, I slept really well. The swelling wasn’t even that severe to begin with.
Day 7, the long-awaited day to remove the splint. After arriving in Seoul, I went to the hospital and got treatment right away. After removing all the splint, they removed the stitches, and wow, it seriously hurt so much. I can never do stitches on the columella and inside again. I teared up a little. After everything was done, I decided to see the director again in a month to check the progress. I looked as soon as I came out of the hospital, and it felt really awkward. Is it because of the swelling!? Then after I got home and kept looking in the mirror, the bulbous nose correction was better than I expected. But you know how people get greedy, and when I looked, I wanted to make it even higher again. Still, I’m satisfied for now. As soon as I got home, I removed the stitch residue and applied ointment inside. After taking everything out, I feel so relieved. Seriously, for people who are thinking about it, I think it would be good to do it here, only if you pursue a natural look.
Also, I have rhinitis, small nostrils, and I was worried about my nose skin, but it’s much better than I expected. It feels like I can breathe better. Anyway, this was my fake-nose diary! If you have any questions, I’ll answer them🤓😚
