Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

I had three types of facial contouring for asymmetry

Facial asymmetry had been a complex of mine for a long time, so I even looked into square jaw Botox as a procedure. But for my face shape, the left side of my face was overall wider than the right, and my square jaw was also severe. The positions of my cheekbones and the degree of cheekbone protrusion were also different on the right and left, so I decided on three types of facial contouring surgery. I saw two hospitals in Seoul on Gangnam Unni and went for consultations. The director at Y Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery told me that perfect symmetry might not be possible and even explained the possible side effects after surgery, so I trusted them more. My parents were also very worried about CCTV because it was a major surgery, and they said here you can watch the CCTV in real time, so there was even more no reason not to have the surgery here. <Day of cheekbone, square jaw, and chin surgery> After fasting for 8 hours, I had a final consultation with the director before surgery and went in for the operation. I think my surgery took about 2 hours 30 minutes to 3 hours! I closed and opened my eyes, and the surgery was already over. After the surgery ended, they said I needed to wake up from anesthesia and told me to take deep breaths. After general anesthesia, I was so cold But after some time passed, it got better. Whenever I have anesthesia, I always get a lot of stomach discomfort, so the nurse gave me medicine to help me feel better, and even until dawn, they came often to change my ice packs and ask if I was okay! They were so, so kind, and I was grateful. Up to day 4 after surgery, the swelling is really severe.. When I was discharged, I wasn’t swollen at all and had no bruising, so I thought, ah, I’ll be fine! but,,,, that wasn’t the case… The bruising wasn’t severe, and around day 2? I saw yellowish bruising under my eyes and on my chin. I kept eating porridge and taking medicine, and in the evenings I went for short walks of about 30 minutes. On day 7, I went to the hospital, had the cheekbone stitches removed, received swelling care, and had the inside of my mouth disinfected. They also took a CT and showed me before and after surgery, and I started wanting to see how I’d look once the swelling goes down! <2 weeks after surgery> It’s now been 2 weeks since surgery. I’m still swollen, so it’s a little unnatural, but daily life is possible! The inside of my mouth is still somewhat swollen and uncomfortable, but I think it has gone down compared to week 1. Also, before surgery, my side profile looked like I had a recessed chin, but now even from the side it doesn’t look flat, so I’m satisfied. They said most of the major swelling goes down after a month, and I want to see it quickly haha. And although there’s still swelling, I can see that my facial line has changed, so rather than feeling impatient, I feel motivated to take better care of myself to reduce the swelling faster, and I’m satisfied haha.
